Blue Moon Cafe in Maui

Stopped here for breakfast. Very friendly service. Yummy Belgian waffle with macadamia nuts ice cream and veggie omlette.

Hangover helper omelette was very good. Make sure to get a side of sausage. Had good service and a reasonably priced breakfast here.

I'd go back again. Food was a good serving and tasted fresh. Service with a smile. The menu has changed, there were no banana macadamia nut pancakes.

The customer service by Carole was really great. The food came out great. The service was very speedy, as I told Carole that I was on my way to the airport.

Had to try macadamia nut pancakes while bisiting Maui. These were excellent, but I was a bit disappointed that that had run out of coconut syrup.

Please I strongly urge you to not eat here. The food is extremely awful. Very over priced, not following the new guidelines. If I could have given a negative star, I would have. Never will I visit again. 20$ for this and a coffee. -2 stars.

Food was great and the waitress was also nice

Pretty decent place, not crowded and clean! I got the banana Mac nut pancakes and the coconut syrup was amazing!! My boyfriend got the breakfast tacos and loved them. Everything was pretty cheap compared to other places we have been, definitely recommend!

This place has great food and service at reasonable prices We went there often while in Hawaii.

Came in for breakfast at 10 am and the entire experience was a let down. We came because it was close and the food looked good but little did we know our service would be crap and our food was more than a little cold. I ordered French toast and I have never had such cold food in a restaurant and my friends potato’s and eggs were also cold. Our sever, Samantha wouldn’t be bothered to check on her diners because she was on her phone.She was the only one there but the cafe did not seem overwhelmingly busy. There were only 4 tables us included (we were a party of 2). I hate to write such a negative review but being that we both come from the service industry it was a huge disappointment.

I like this place, often I just want a good omelet, without so much b.s. food is very good but they don't always have the A/C on. It can get warm.

Delicious! I got the banana French toast along with potatoes and eggs, and my husband got banana macadamia nut pancakes with a scramble. Everything was excellent, but the potatoes impressed me the most. So crispy and well spiced.

Never have had an issue with this place until today, always hard working servers, kindness, delicious food and fast service. Rolled up for breakfast at 12:36pm on Sunday before Labor day 2019... and the older server lady with the dark hair turned off the open sign as my friend and I approached.There was a paper sign stating the cafe would be closing at 1pm and closed Monday. Never had we experienced such rude service before. Used to love this place but not too sure we'll return. Always have had courteous service from the other workers but have received glares from the server that had shut the sign off. There were other customers inside as well. Where is the aloha?

Unbelievably delicious, clean restaurant, great service, and fresh and delicious food. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict and the pancakes. Do not miss this restaurant, it’s a hidden gem!!!

Definitely THE BEST breakfast in Kihei. I have been going there for lunch too since early this year and everything about this restaurant is always presto perfect. Superior service, magnificent food, classic local style atmosphere. Awesome coffee, access to courtesy high speed internet is very cool, super comfortable seating, and open door mountain breezes in the morning. They even have Roselani Ice Cream & fresh fruit smoothies. Totally 2-Thumbs Up. Ken is the finest Chef ever, and Amber is outstanding. She's truly the most friendly supersonic server on Maui. Blue Moon Cafe has limitless Aloha.

This place was okay it's located in the industrial area located in Maui on the Kihei side the food was okay but the cook is that somebody who wants to work with anybody his portions are small a lot of the times he will not cook the food you way you want it it's hit-and-miss with this guy so be careful they do have Wi-Fi though LOL why you are arguing with the cook said he didn't get your order right

Stopped there on a whim and really enjoyed it. Nice and clean, with good food and very friendly staff. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly! Would definitely stop there again.

Fluffy pancakes, good breakfast- the hash brown potatoes had a very SE Asian flavor (tamarind?), quite tasty! The cheese burger also had an Asian flavor, maybe a bit of fish sauce- so if you like SE Asian flavors, you can find them here!

We miss Ken, the OG owner, but they still have good food and kind staff. The wknds a.m. seem to always have this place hopping, but usually never too busy. Lots of seating, but lots of tables make for tiny walk ways and slammed service.

Nice, simple little place with very nice wait staff and attentive service and reasonable pricing. Breakfast huevos rancheros were very good.

First time we ate here, it was a Friday late morning. Place only had one other family eating. We went with breakfast. I got an omelet, it was delicious and plenty! My spouse got the big breakfast that comes with just about everything...and he had no complaints! We left with full bellies and satisfied. Our meal was cheap! The staff was friendly and helpful. We will come back and try lunch again soon!

Good quality food. Not an expansive menu but what they do have they do very well. Crepes were delicious. Pancakes are large and the carmelized bananas are yummy. Eggs and bacon was very satisfying. Sam was our server and she was friendly and quick.

Under staffed. We had to clean our own table after waiting 10 mins. Worst pancake I have ever had, eggs bacon were average. Our server was really good, sucks she was there by herself.

Went there for breakfast after looking at menu online and were looking for an American style breakfast that my child would eat. Was surprised by the new menu and change in ownership, which happened about a year ago. We decided to eat there anyway. The food was decent, but was a little spicy for my child. Again, not what I was expecting after looking at the old menu and my child would not eat much. Menu was a bit limited, prices were higher than before, and service was relatively slow with only one waitress.

It was our first meal on Maui and it was incredible. I had the pancakes but had a bite of the eggs my wife had. The eggs were out of this world. Better than any I've ever had. The pancakes were also great, so good in fact that I ate the second one without syrup; something I've never done before. It's a small space as well so service was no issue, always a second away from assistance.
